Meditative Practice - Meeting Aesclepius

Hello everyone, the past week has been a trying one for me.  Everthing I've learned and practiced up until this point, just took flight and sailed to some unknown destination.

I'm out of town visiting my daughter who came suddenly came down with the pneumonia and rushed to the hospital with a negative prognosis.  You see, my daughter has a compromise immune system where is system is not able to fight various colds and infections like you and I may be able to, so things can get a bit more serious.  But the devil is a liar and we are certainly being challenged right now.

Anyway, I found it very difficult meditating, not once, or twice, but three times I tempted and failed.   Satan is really up to his tricks, oh but I found a way and a place to channeled that negativity.  You see, I'm in Florida, sitting near a lake, with streams of water shooting from the geyser beneath it.  The lake is surrounded by beautiful palm trees, and a walking path with benches on both sides.

I had to get my computer and listened to the audio to be able to get into the zone.  First time, not so good.  Needed to get breathing under control so I practiced the deep in/out breaths techniques until the rhythmic of the heart rate gradually slowed down.  I envisioned my daughter in good spirit and in good health, doing wonderful things in this life for her children and the world she's going to leave behind when God calls her home, because right now he's not done with her.

After meditation was complete, I felt light-hearted and a sense of happiness and joy came over me as if God himself enveloped me in his love.  At that moment I knew everything was going to be ok.
